A stunning reversal. But now the Fed will almost certainly raise interest rates next month. Took advantage of this morning's drop and closed shorts. Will get back in later today.

I don't expect the bloodbath to last more than a day or two so maybe you're right. On the other hand this MIGHT just be the trigger that sends markets crashing over the next few months. Turbulent times ahead no doubt. This morning though I'm just happy to be sitting with a big short position.
