Still have shorts opened @ lower levels.

I thought we might get a higher entry point for more shorts, but looking weak now.

 

Very low volumes on UK bank holiday. So I'm not sure that we should take anything from the mornings action.

 

Will wait for US to wake up to get a clearer direction.

US indexes have confirmed their August top and are in a medium term correction now, targeting 1570ish in October!

If TOP40 does not follow through on today's breakout possible this sideways up and down is a distribution top and she should start down until after futures close-out in Sept for a good drop!

Negative divergence showing on the dailies with today's new high, so today is very important, if she goes red then through in the kitchensink on shorts and hold!

Does anyone have any news on Jackson Hole?

When are we going to get some feedback from that? or is it already out?

All I got so far, was no clarity on bond buying program.

 

This was on Bloomberg. EM's were basically told to get a life, the Fed looks after the US economy and nothing else. So if QE stops, it will be us that don't get a seat at musical chairs..

Ok top call tight there...Only 400 points of the mark ..bygones ..Gonna have to call my Swazilanders and log a complaint again.

 

I have reached my shorting window and here I will stay until I get my 4000 points Plasma. It is maybe 300 - 500 pips from where I would have wanted it to be but I will have to ride it out if push comes to shove. Hanging man candle formation on the Daily chart indicative of momentum shift but no confirmation as of yet. The Big 5 on the Top40 PE's also getting very expensive. Strike season. Septaper. Syria. Daily Macd crossing over the signal line(Well almost ) Bokke's display against the Pumas. Bear going long  Looking a bit gloomy in my view and this is what I will be reminding myself if we do rally from here.

Good luck Chubby! The flag target of approx 38950 is where I have my sell order. This level will shake out many of the die-hard shorts who have been in since way lower down. Can't see it go very much higher from there. See you at the bottom.

Where are you going Chubby?

As you say, no confirmation yet.....but you have do this successfully before....thus history may repeat itself. Other traders must just take care to note that you are willing and able to ride out some large ranges.....

Me have no position at the moment. Was extremely tempted to take a short late Friday night, but did not. Will see a bit later
