Secong long added @ 36580 im looking for 300 pips

Chubby, are you out? If not, what is your S/L?

Lots of damage done today...Had to offload @ 36400 and 36350. First loss in the last 16 trades! Short @ 36350 as well

You have stated before that you trade in a range.....from previous posts these ranges can be quite wide....offloading after 180 points etc, tells me that you do not see much upward potential at the moment, ie that you are not wiling to risk riding down and up again....from there your question yesterday. Was surprised when you took the long yesterday afternoon. Seemed not like you..given your misgivings.

Whichever way, 16 trades in a row.....I like! :)

The first goal is to ensure survival – avoid the risks that can empty your account and put you out of the trading business.  :)

Nerve racking is when you are sitting in your car in your driveway and you've just realised that you have forgotten its your anniversary as your wife comes out holding a gift!

You already took your wife and kids out shopping on your wins last week Chubby. What more can be expected of you!!

Who believes that SA inflation slowed again? Its a joke.

With fuel prices sky high, logistic costs will be passed on to consumers.

What do they have in their basket.

1 candle

1 lt parrafin

1 tin fish

1 sunlight

1 chicken wings

I think there is high probability for S&P500 to show short covering as it  crosses crosses and pops at 1700, and I think our T40 will correlate that target and pop soon enough. ( with the inevitable gap cover soon after?)

but if the breakout wither and implode instead, meaning buying is  drying up then I should be out and short with an equivalent stop of SP just above 1700.

and SP500 reaching to the magnet of 1700 is only a few points away but how m uch after that is out of my depth in guessing - problem is that reaching 1700 and / breaking lower will likely be after JSE hours.

i'm pretty sure that the recent rally in gold has something to do with which way this plays out.... too bad i took profits too early on ANG
