Well if I want to trade the instrument called Cash which the chart is labeled then there is only one way to do it. This is a repeat answer and is also starting to look like promotion.

Some say there is no such thing as bad publicity. And free is cheap.

So do you have their permission for 5 demo accounts? Do they know that you have 5 demo accounts?

Do they know you are posting their non-public chart here?

Is it the platform that you are promoting and the IG Cash instrument is just a means for this, or is it the other way around, or is it both?

But then as you say, you do not care if anyone can follow what you are doing because you are not here to teach.

If I were IG I would also prefer that the punters have got no chance, because they are the market maker and will lose otherwise.

Of course. they encourage it.

I like their Prorealtime platform, i develop my bots on it and is great for TA. All free on demo. Unlike that piece of **** SF from DWT.  I dont trade top40.  I trade sp500, oil and dow.  Much easier and better. I still have interest in top40 because i'm invested in it.
Then i use investing.com for the majority of my TA, inlcuding top40 futures. I do TA becuase i have a passion for it.  Even though i dont trade often, i still analyse, thats how one learns.  You a sudent for life when you a trader!

Does that answer all your questions, becuase this is a repeated answer!

There is a possible IHS printing in the dip.  A bit early to call but keep an eye on it. Alsi getting a klap after testing 200ma on 1H. (NPN driven). lets see if the red 100ma can send her back to the neckline.  Note the +ve on the TSI.  Looks more and more like a reversal coming. See many techncal signs bulls want her up, so some good odds that this is indeed an IHS

I see that IG have taken down their interactive public charts and want account holders only to see these. But if you do your posting of their chart which is for account holders only then you are also in breach of their desire that these charts should not be made public.

Like I asked to no avail, if you are not trading IG why then are you striving so hard with your stated purpose of setting targets?

If not for the more obvious marketing purposes that is.

So please add to the story that you are telling and tell us if you have permission from IG to post their charts.

Here is another reason why i think alsi is on its way up.  Look, NPN cracked the channel.  Was also hit by the 1H 200ma. lets see if bulls can hold the channel.  If they do the alsi HS going to pop.

No need to get shirty. Peace etc.

These are the fundamentals:

  • The IG Cash index is a not the same as any other index. It is a proprietary index.
  • It does not translate to other JSE indices and your patterns such as your diamond is not on any other ALSI index, as I pointed out.
  • To make use of your targets I must open an account with IG and trade the CFD based hybrid proprietary instrument called Cash.

You are effectively promoting a proprietary product. Do you want to disagree with this statement?

There are plenty of shares and indices to follow that are not proprietary. If you are not trading IG why do you take such an interest in their Cash Index anyway?

My problem with IG Cash is that they are the market maker. This means they are taking the other position to the punter.

Meanwhile they are the broker taking a fee for giving access to themselves whilst they take the opposing position with an instrument that they created and control.

So when you ask your IG broker to advise you, you are asking them to tell you how to make them lose.

To set unfamiliar people up like this is not really very honest of them to say the least.

Now I can sure understand that anyone who is actually going to a lot of trouble to get the IG Cash index onto the screens of new or potential punters (future IG customers) will become shirty if some Snippit thing keeps pointing it out and asking awkward questions that you don't want to answer.

I can understand that they would want to get the Snippit thing banned and have a clear run at the public side of the promotion campaign and then hide away in their secret clubhouse once again via PM's and other methods.

I could say it is negative to declare that you are on this forum with the intention of inviting people to leave this forum as you claim to have done successfully since 2014. To keep returning in order use the PM facility to take people away or otherwise interact publicly with ulterior motives. Now that is what I classify as negative.

My stated purpose here is to help to make this a safer place for ordinary agenda-free posters.

I was thinking about the posting policy on the main page about the what nots:

5. Advertising or marketing ploys of any kind.

which seems to still be a good idea.

Meanwhile there are elements about that will help a person out when they need more top up for their account.

The money-lending business is everywhere, ready and willing to obtain your signature.

And your car. And your furniture. And your holiday home. And your house.

So you say we should only chart J200 here? Which noone can trade physically?

Snippit or someone..quick question..does head and shoulders have to be exact...ie shoulders exactly lined up or can it be marginally out? Thanks

Market is not perfect. neither are the patterns.  HS/IHS can be slanted, but against the trend (ignore those into the trend). Flat ones works best, specially on the higher timeframes
