However, in the question-and-answer session, lawmakers tried to nail down when the Fed may taper its bond-buying program, with one official asking if it could occur before Labor Day. Bernanke responded by saying that the Fed could take a step down in the pace of asset purchases in the “next few meetings.” That comment led stocks to pare gains and pushed the market lower by early afternoon.
Will be interesting to see if the east will also take a dip later. IGM is down.

Finally... Mr Gold "pulling" finger !
This was the market maker playing his usual games during Bens speech by shooting it above 1400 and then quickly above 1410 to take out the short stops..
and now it goes back to "fair value" at 1380!!!
As i mentioned in the CFD calls thread, resources are building up for a nice short and ....... down they went!!!

What an idiot Bernanke, "He hopes interest rates will get higher in the near term." He is keeping it down with the bond purchases. What a dunce.
He also called the markets "frothy" the same word he used for home prices in the US before the big crash. Hahahaha, is this a warning?

Has the market decided which way to move - pre Bernanke - or is this fickle? Anyone got a clue. Sorry for keeping on seeking advice. P.S - bought that spade so time to dig my way out of the hole.
