I sold off about 65%ish of my gold after it's good run on Thursday.
Looking at buying back in on Monday when we open (expecting another positive run - a lot of value still in here - esp. after loosing 20% of it's value in recent weeks)
You have open positions over the weekend?

Not anymore. Now @ 1453 -0.9%. It was subjected to a bit of a sell off late this afternoon...

went long J200 34452 just now w tight S/L and now moved it up above entry
will probably close it at 4.30 bec of afraid of Friday sell off for profit taking
I think market will top over eventually when S&P (etc) shows a massive buying spurge one of these days and too few buyers left to boost stock [prices pumped to hard - but that will surely be above SP500 > 1600 somewhere
taken out as I write! 65pts profit

Stupid question from a glorified accountant: if QE is really keeping the market propped up, shouldn't the US markets (i.e. futures) react in kind? And yet, they are still quite red?!
From one to another then,
As soon as US opened, they popped up. Green now.

You are opening up yourself to some tong as well...
Come Monday and she tanks? Stick to the graphs, QE won't always come to the rescue in a correction!
Next year when this bullrun ends and the bear begins QE not gonna help, cycles does not get dictated by QE!

I know, and that is why I said I will keep a stop on it. Market might well turn, but I think only on news of QE tapering.
$85 Bil a month pumped into the market will keep the market going up unless higher yielding assets appear.
QE has rendered fundamentals impotent, do you think TA will have the markets going down against that amount of printing, I dont.

Now tell me traders aren't pricing in QE?
After GDP figures like that and we just rally back.
I'm sorry, but this looks like the same market that just kept running in the beginning of the year.
The printed money has to go somewhere, and its looking for yield in equities.
Go short @ your own peril.
I need someone on the other side of my long.
I will however keep a stop on it.
