NPN reached channel top. could see a nasty drop from here on alsi.

FYI: Naspers has its own thread. I suggest you make use of it.

Also try to learn about what is a channel and speak to your JK001 cohort about not assuming everything is a diamond pattern.

The internet is well equipped with information that is believable. There is far more out there that is not an attempt to con people. viz:

https://www.investop...ath-to-success/

So many know-it-alls with so little knowledge. Typical hereabouts.

  1. Trusting strangers on an anonymous chat forum can be a risky business. Even more risky than the stock market.
  2. I have tried to warn the vulnerable, being those without adequate savvy: e.g.: https://swrict.blogspot.com/2018/11/sharechat-warning.html
  3. Vultures circle hereabouts. Give them control and say goodbye to your money.

Sorry dburger, somebody should have told you old Snippet here thinks the forum belongs to him, and given that he doesn't even know what S1M refers to should tell you apart from his EW charts (that I doubt even is his own) what knowledge he has about the markets.

Just noise...

Sorry is it? How to make friends and influence people does not appear to be your forte.

You IG con guys not having much luck with the fortune telling nowadays. How goes it with the PM recruitment?

Newbies, newbies here newbies newbies, come and get it from the pied piper fortune tellers.

Nobody can take you for a ride like they can.

Getting difficult to follow. Your change of direction in one day is quite incredible to behold.
I have never seen the likes of S1M hereabouts, yet you appear to assume that the (non-existent) audience understands all about how you have chosen to determine and employ this and what it is all about.
But I have seen the tack before from the IG gang. The dupe patrol. The pied piper brigade and the foolish followers that never return.
You should be giving the link where readers can find all about your technical guru mystical magic so that they can understand and by so doing have a better chance of survival in a game where the novice has virtually no chance of survival and their loss will be IG's gain.
This is not your personal IG promotion platform and I suggest that you and your obvious cohorts desist from such.

Monthly levels are of scant value to day traders.

Thanks DB, refreshing to have a 'second opinion'.   Is your 'nasty drop' severe enough to take profits and sit on sideline and re-enter, or rather a hold?

That down trend looks broken...   have a short term target to 49k once this top cracks.  Yes the diamond is only on cash, but still there are many traders on IG trading it.  Safex guys is being blindsided lol.   Anyway, does not matter either way, down trend broke...

ok...   S1M broke.   1.618% at 49356 IG cash.   But i suspect the top of range will be tested.   49550ish. will not be straight line though. S1M will be visited few times.  As long as the support holds its game on to pivot. W3 is birthed,,,

There is no diamond pattern on the Top 40 or any ALSI index. The IG chart is something different, something tweakable via algos,  something man made by the market maker and broker.

Nice chart, and diamond pattern played like a charm!

Only starting A...  Diamonds are major reversals.  Could get greens for a week.
CPI numbers out shortly, if as estimated rand going to weaken and push market up. over the coming weeks.

Down  trend is broken. Diamond in play off S2M.  I see a bit lower for alsi gap to close, but overall i expect a a green day.  Should pop within next 2 days imo... as long as the down trends stays broken. S1M is a tough resistance but once it breaks Pivot will be target.

Agree on EW, and although NPN mostly mirrored Tencent it now has a different motivation, so may not follow the exact pattern

Check out this diamond formation bottom on Naspers, should pop soon and extremely bullish pattern in the works imo.

Midas, I'm cautious on the direction higher. I'm a believer of EW theory, go look at the chart from Snippet in the Naspers thread.
