THANKYOU VERY MUCH SNIPPIT........Am I reading this correct......According to your latest Alsi chart....We are in Prime 2 of cycle 3 of Super Cycle 1    The SP is comencing Super Cycle 2.....If I read this correct Fed interference will give us the HARD THRUST OF PRIME 3.......but merely give the SP a B form retrace of some decree......Them then being in A down for now of some decree......???

Snippit.......I am a bit lost with your longterm view with regards to the 1800 target for the SP though....Would you mind posting your higher decree charts on the Alsi and SP pointing to this......Are you seeing 3000 plus for the SP first ...and then the 1800 ?

Now globally released, so this is just another outdrip into a minute crack in a small crevice with about 2 actual observers. Thereby it cannot add anything much either way and so it is most probably safe amongst the forgotten tribe of ancient whatsits who probably prefer rock paintings...

  1. Trusting strangers on an anonymous chat forum can be a risky business. Even more risky than the stock market.
  2. I have tried to warn the vulnerable, being those without adequate savvy: e.g.: https://swrict.blogspot.com/2018/11/sharechat-warning.html
  3. Vultures circle hereabouts. Give them control and say goodbye to your money.

Closed out some longs around 49500.........Still hoping for 51k to end B though.......Will all depend on  Sunday's open.....I think the Americans should be up for a bit now after Friday's washout to 750.......If they play around between 760 and 815 we should drift higher......

JSE, ALSI (Swix), JN43

This analysis of the daily chart of the ALSI (Swix) Index stays with the bear view and sees some ratios. The RSI and 0.62 Fib ratio of the retrace of the current downleg suggest a bounce can be here.

JSE, ALSI, J203
Inevitably the ALSI index follows the ALSI Swix into a similar recount (See previous post). The Top 40 has gone the same way. What it means is that the trend has not yet changed to bullish.

The JSE, ALSI (Swix) was always going to be the first to fail the bullish trend view.

The stacked odds have won this one. The big bear never left the room.

JSE, ALSI Swix, JN43 (Updated)
Update 15th May:
A close call for this bullish trend. The dip came within 0.11% of entering wave 1
The odds are now stacked.
A break out and test needed on NPN to give any hope of avoiding the big bear.

JSE, ALSI Swix, JN43
The Swix version of the ALSI (JN43) is more demanding due to the reduced slope when compared to the J203 ALSI. It is thereby an index of significant interest at this time.

Hi, Is there a time scale for minor wave 4...presume next step wave 5...or is there a wave 4 after the minor?  .Please don't shout me down, trying understand EW. Thank you.

Alternation between 2nd and 4th often gives an expectation for relative time frames - if 2nd wave is with a drawn out pattern then the 4th is often sharp. Thats about as good as it gets looking forward.

If there is a 4th wave then there must be a 5th wave to complete the pattern. Then the correction that follows should be 3 waves. Patterns can be difficult to see to begin with, but as with all methods practice helps a lot.

For more info try: https://www.humbletr...m/elliott-wave/

Note: The Elliott theory is not only for forex. However, it is better to restrict it to instruments (e.g. index or currency pair) with large volume of trade constantly involving many human traders because it is about general human nature. Some say that excessive algorithm trades on an instrument can also disqualify the efficacy of the theory. The S&P 500  has been accused of excessive directed trades causing abnormal small waves to become more like never ending ripples.

ALSI-Swix:

The final upward leg of Minor wave 3 has further influenced the divergence whilst improving the clearance above wave 1 for wave 4

Warning: Its CFD promotion time gain. What is not stated up front is that a certain outfit is broker and market maker. So when you lose, they win. They also don't tell you that they are unregulated. Why should they? They see your stops which are easy to take out during moments of reduced activity. So much effort to use these forums with such deception. Incredible, but true.
