Hi JK,
Some of webs saying 14 November tencent results? They are doing lots roadshows and launched glasses that video...although in our selfie society cant see that being a big seller...Im not expecting great results this quarter ...until they are allowed launch new games its a bit tough. But tencent music ipo will raise their profile and if naspers list in another country npn shares should surge...I intending to sell for small profit and buy in on drop later...my average price lower now as went on a shopping spree at the drop. Also buying s and p and nasdaq when they drop further...they served me well earlier in the year and counteracted loss on snh. ( Snh loss was oouch but glad Im out and lesson learnt) Im not a day trader...just trying to pull profit here and there when I can, also not particularly interested in the cheap penny shares.......anyway just an opinion...but being a little cautious as least left me still with a positive this year....ps Snippit thanks for your charts....s and p and nasdaq very interesting I also google the video clips from us regularly to get different opinions although they pretty much tie in. Haha JK not a con....just a guy trying to make some $$$......at least he understands your charts

For the many silent, bemused non cons - even though the posts on ShareChat have become riddled with FAKES doing their orchestrated promotion of their honey pot scam (with the prolific array of deceptions and distractions), my attempts to continue here with some sanity endure. It has been reported on radio 702 that Polly has also agreed to be interviewed by Carte Blanche about the Polly Magic Numbers trades that now threaten the JSE and the economy. Stay tuned there to find out what happens to those who join up to go down the rabbit hole to the Polly in Wonderland parlour..
If you have been alert enough to know that the preferred take was on its way then it should not surprise you...

Dear Snippit,
I know your are pretty engulfed at this point in time as you stated, however, when you do have the luxury of boredom would you kindly run a J. chart on JSE banking index. With the USD ZAR and sensitivity of banks to fluctuation I believe there is a pivoting trend underway (simply because my competency is not there yet). Despite the SARB published intention to raise rates that positively favors banks, I think that will be detrimental to consumer spend and even effect write-off rates for banks. So, banks short term gain, retail pain, then the inverse bank collection pain, retail still in pain. SARB obviously outward focus to attract bond investments, little or no recognition that inflationary pressures are due to increased VAT, oil and rand weakness and not consumer spend. Rate increase would be internally focused for bonds and not contributing to SA Inc. public interest. Just an opinion. Suspect CPI.JO will be less impacted due to limited foreign exposure, but will be hammered under the same grouping.

Hi Ms Jet, nice to see you back. As you would have noted you too are know on the Wolf of the Bluff's persona non grata blocked list. I am delighted because that means she does not know when we are posting and should not cloud topic relevant conversations. Anyway enough about her.
Simply, looking at Snippit's 0700.HK chart (thanks Snippit as always appreciated), then Tencent could go up to just over 320 in HK (+/- 6-7% from current close). That said, some bad news on G20 summit for China, so sentiment in US not pleasant. I like to use the S&P 500 (VIX) as a sentiment barometer. At the moment you will note it is over 20, up 8% (as at 19:41 SA time). At the same time you will note NASDAQ 100 down 1.72% indicating Tech anxiety. If you look at Snippit's HK chart it is at the top border of the downward channel. There is US midterm elections in a few days, so I suspect Trump will have to feed his followers a chill pill, so sentiment may change next week again.
So, the crossroads we sit at is: 1) Snippit's Tencent chart and 2) his HK index chart (thanks for the HK chart too Snippit). Is Tencent going to break through the upper boundary of the channel to reach the shortfall of 6-7% or is it going to retract staying within the channel limits? If it breaks through and go another 6-7%, you would be at your 3050-3100 level. If I remember correctly, that is above your entry point.
I do believe NPN has great long term growth possibilities, however, you must decide if/when you want to exit and buy more for less later, or is the 21 November results (TCEHY) going to surprise and reverse the negative sentiment. I have seen over time that investors and traders alike do not take kind to disappointment and uncertainty and even worse missed analyst estimates. I don't want to make the post to long to elaborate on each of the major SOTP of NPN, but there are some potential winners. Important to factor in for me is that most with the exception of 'letgo - USA' investments are currencies that are suffering against the USD. Keep in mind that Tencent bought back a truck load of shares towards end September - not sure if it was enough to fabricate an over exceed surprise
.

So the c*nt snippet managed to drive off all the positive contributors again - for the umpteenth time. You must be so proud of yourself now that you got free reign to spout your trash all day to yourself. You really are a prime POS and the only one who needs to f*ck off from this board. *******.
Another degenerate offspring that has a lack of adjectives to express his/her opinion. Kindly elaborate on what exactly you contributed positively and I would humbly retract my post. It is fascinating how incomprehension of the charts posted results in revolt of the the imbeciles. There are a handful of people who really do appreciate the unselfish effort Snippit put into generating these EW charts. On the one hand we have the theory and on the other hand we get the practical illustrations from Snippit. All I can do is say thank you to Snippit, the learning curve is inspirational and seriously not easy. So Bullshitbear44, learn or join Polly's helpdesk, she really need your valued contribution. You would also note from his latest charts that he is putting the anticipated a,b,c or i,ii,iii,iv,v.
You will not comprehend this due to grey-matter deprivation, but there was an Afrikaans writer called Langenhoven, he said (directly translated) 'if you have nothing to say then say it'.

For the Non Con Artists...
The S&P 500 futures index has concluded the first minute wave and breached its support as the second minute wave retraces the first wave.
The trading public are advised to stay alert for the 3rd wave.

- you are in on the game with several others and want it to keep going because it has previously been more rewarding for you than trading.

From what little I know about Naspers it appears to have been a small outfit that won the jackpot with Tencent and kept the small minded board who proceeded to see no need to do anything much and now they get a clop when Tencent takes a hit due to its lack of diversity.
The charting of Tencent was just posted on Naspers thread.
Next week needs to prep and break out of the channel. Suggest check sens daily.
Otherwise the market was slow to turn NPN about in the dip. Buyers wanted it even cheaper and may still succeed. I think its not so much a game of guess the number so much as to watch the indicators for rally tyres going flat.
Thanks I saw that,,,

Don't keep going the wrong way like the fake Polly who wants only that you will never think for yourself, and then blindly follows my bum steers every time.
