I see a H&S pattern on the 15 and 30 min chart this could take us down to 47,400 Futures.

A well formed bear flag in place. If it breaks we might see the final downleg to finish off this bearish move.

 

Meanwhile .......... somewhere under Witbank ...............

Would like to see further weakness for the Rand/$, assisting ALSI upbeam attempt nearly to ath @49400 futures, then with wave 4 = wave 2 and wave c of wave 4 = 1.61a, both can target 45700 for the bounce into wave 5. Just a thought.

Imo, market is a bit jittery about int rate hike in US, might not be in July, but they know it is coming.
I am not taking any longs for more than a scalp for now, our market looking very weak compared to US & Asia, so any weakness in leading markets should be exaggerated in SA. But thats just my opinion.

and that is normally the case on Alsi - also the SARB will try and pre-empt a rate hike befor USA in a misguided effort to stop capital outflow.

Me thinks the gap only going to close near end of the month, for now playing within the 48600 and 48000 band...so today we might go up again if I look at the charts!

Big resistance around 48320. I can't see it breaking today ... but when it does ... chooo ... chooo ...!!

Thanks MP, i see the IH&S, i think i will just hold onto my longs for that potential 300-400 pips target. 

 

We just pray that Scotty will hold onto that beam  :D

 

I always wonder where V unearthes some of his comments...that Scotty one had me laughing all day :D
