US markets recovering very nicely there, i think they know something. 

 

Long 48,790 (this is a short term trade) 

Thank God i had my limit at 49,200. Now i am happy to sit on hands and see what happens next

Hi A, and seasonal distribution over the month - eg beginning May vs end May etc? how do you see it - did we not perhaps have the seasonal top theoretically on our Freedom day with S&P maxing at 2125 ( IG had their theortical T40 Futures at 49688 i think )

IMO think we are in for a strong upmove first half of May and then distribution for that Major 4....US is now going for a breakout attempt and think this time around they should succeed!

 

SKEW index show something is missing on the upside as it is on the lower end and it is normally high with significant tops!(UBS was right afterall). 

 

Had a false break down out of the US triangular pattern who half the world shorted so normally it catches traders off guard and causes a strong move in the opposite direction (now up)!

So at the momement IG cash is about 300 pips up above the actual top40 close on Thursday. Closed my long on Friday night. At 0345 China PMI. Going to place a buy order down...level to be determined.

I am long from 48 149 IG Cash. Banking on us nearly testing 38% fib and US having a green day.


Whichever way you look at it, these are juicy levels for a long.

I've been adding longs on our way down and I'm planning to hold for a while.

I'll hedge if a black swan flies by

You rarely get a high momentum top...so I'm still for new highs into May before Major 4 kicks off (2000 points) but guess we will know tomorrow...most traders are afraid of May but in my experience it is more bullish than bearish...! :rolleyes:

The lower Bollinger Band is around 46,010, MACD also looks like its turning down.

 

If we see more red on Monday i will close long and go short!
