Beorn, reading this thread the past few days, it really sounds as if you've got a hidden agenda??!

I also think that Greece is just a Mickey Mouse country and only granting us an opportunity to BTFD. However, in the back of my head is 2008, when charts followed a similar pattern - a good scare with a lekker +-12-15% drop, then up again (and above) and only THEN the waterfall...

Where/How does one find out what the "Big Boys" do? What is the best indicator? Any websites?

See this: http://www.fin24.com...d-rout-20150217

Yes, the ZAR should continue on its current coarse if we are rated to junk.

And many funds are not allowed to invest in junk.

But the Alsi's heaviest weighted companies are not South African companies, and are dual listed in Ftse US etc.

and our mining sector will most probably welcome the weak ZAR, as there earnings will be much higher, (There costs should not increase much).

All in all, in my opinion it will be a net positive for the Alsi if SA is downgraded to junk. Just get out of any equity positions that is only exposed to South Africa.

IMO, only thing that will drag us down, is something that will drag world indices down. (a Black Swan event). Like full blown Grexit etc. or end to QE :o

Que pasa? "Beorn, reading this thread the past few days, it really sounds as if you've got a hidden agenda??!"

I don't follow the "hidden agenda" part.

I think it's pretty obvious he wanted to fleece Argento for as many rounds of golf as possible :)

Top formation for the return move down to 44000 futures has begun IMO...but shouldn't break down this week as it could form a right shoulder of a possible H&S first before that elusive drop next week!

And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.  :)

Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe

Methinks we need to first feed the two beasts below before we satisfy the one above.

But for sure ... all need to be fed ... it's the way of the world.

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

Maybe a small gap down at open, which I will buy like a madman, then close the gap and continue higher.

The lunatic is on the grass.
Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs.
Got to keep the loonies on the path.
