Glad it worked out. Thought you were a bit premature with the short at THAT stage. Still have my long from last night @ 43 768. See most future indices are green, as well as HS. Playing squash @ 0900. Trust 45 min later I will be smiling.

Hmm, ja, had a weak moment there. Will monitor the new long and if deemed another mistake, will close and walk away tonight.

Over confidence normally bites you in the backside. Had an early morning 185 pip short in pocket. Then went long later. Was nicely in green and came back later, deep red. Closed now now for 300 pip loss. Went short again.

hey P...I disagree with you on this trade. Sure enough the short will make some pips...but jumping in and out may also not be a great idea. Perhaps you could have hedged the long or waited on the side-lines to check dominant trend. Sounds like you kind-a chased the market there.

Well now we wait for Friday...tomorrow will be dry as hell don't see much happening...let's see if it's a retest or a failure of all technicals😁

I agree. Then we'll gallop again....if not tomorrow, then the 2nd of Jan as usual.

 

In fact, this is a juicy buying opportunity. I'm adding longs if she dips further. I'm already long at 44100 (IG)...on top of the other two I left running yesterday.
