Imo,

Watch for announcement from PBOC tomorrow. Pushing Alsi up 2%

i can't find that announcement on investing.com? is it late tomorrow night?


It wont be a scheduled release

So if you are not currently long, one is going to miss out...

Suprise time again
Close of the breakaway gap should negate the bear if confirmed by suitably higher high
A triangle abcde formation here would be delayed wave 4 behaviour, the breakout direction will indicate if this is P4 or still in P3.
Least suprise for me would be a waterfall abc from here to safex 35750ish (being P4) with bounce and test to bring along the next bull cycle (P5)

would you say we could still go as high as 44900ish before the drop?

I'm in your camp for a rally higher to >47000 before any waterfall

Wed 24 Dec

Half day in most markets, all 24-hour indices close at 8.15pm, FX and the dealing desk close at 12am

Thurs 25 Dec

Closed. Dealing desk opens for FX at 11pm

Fri 26 Dec

24-hour indices open for dealing at 1am. SA, UK and European markets closed, US opens as normal. Normal Friday closing times

Mon 29 Dec

Normal trading

Tues 30 Dec

Half day for German equities (closing at 3pm)

Wed 31 Dec

Half day in most markets. FX closes at 12am, all 24-hour indices and the dealing desk close at 12.15am

Thurs 1 Jan

Closed. Dealing desk opens for FX at 11pm

Fri 2 Jan

24-hour indices open for dealing at 1am. Markets re-open. Normal Friday closing times

IG, IG, IG...i was sitting in front of my screen and from 11:30 you rigged it!
the low on J200 = 43702 and low on IG SA40 = 43621 - diff of 81
the low on ALSI = 44000 and low on IG FUT = 43925 - diff of 75

at one stage the spread was over 100!!! FFS this cannot go on!!!

im now also long DAX, DJ and SP

still long and all now risk free trades with SL at entry

DAX - 9870

SP - 2077

DJ - 17852

think the DJ trade will work out the best

the angle of the flag pole should not be taken as a time indication at all, just the target

having said that if you were around for the rally last year this time you will remember how QUICKLY it shot up with no volume at all :)

my perspective and happy for anyone to comment...

if we fail the gap will close in red circle, if we break up my call is on the chart

im long as mentioned yesterday however, my SL is at entry (risk free trade and will obey that SL and not change!) which was 43850(IG) and for now only one FUT contract - will actually look at adding if the call plays out, but there are lots of little yellow lines we need to jump first

possible..but not in the next two weeks at least... volumes have completely dried up and everybody is on holiday
