"The Fed seems to have reminded everyone that things are not so bad, maybe this is the start of the Christmas rally that everyone has been waiting for," said Sasha Naryshkine, fund manager at Vestact.

Fed "remains patient" w.r.t rate hikes. i.e. no rate hike expected during Q1 2015 (next 2-3 Fed meetings).

Thanks. Noticed it, but didn't think too much of it, especially since not cast in stone.

...a full on risk appetite has been triggered by Yellen yesterday.

Why...what did she say/do?

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

I like your chart...and I saw that gap in the morning...the problem I have is that we only have 6 trading days left for the year and with conditions being what they are...a full on risk appetite has been triggered by Yellen yesterday.

I really don't see that gap being filled this year.

But I'm only a humble student subject to correction.

I agree with MB40, but we can't rule out a bit of profit taking tomorrow...just to rest her legs for next week.

Goeie werk!

You called it on BIL as well.

:) best trades of the year for me was shorting some of the big boys like i have been saying for a while - thanks especially to SOL and BHP

i might be wrong, but doubt it is over just yet and for us to move north it has to be lead by the SOL's, etc.

I find trading like body surfing, catch the right one and you will make it all the way to the beach.
