Always don't focus too much on 1 view only, so you seeing us going down again for new lows V?

Looking at the 5H macd she is very overbought and this sideways action could spell out a top...mmm!

Will see what my UBS contacts say about starting to sell again...

Also influenced by full moon and that gap gives a stiff neck, but room for some quick volatilititties

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

Thanks A!

I see she dipped again. I also suspect some more action on the downside. She looks rather weak.

Tricky now...consolidation or distribution..see the 5H also turned down but as this is now a strong uptrend will have to see...seasonals might keep her from breaking out until next week!

Taking profits here (44613) for 210 pips.

Too many potential distractions today (meetings etc). Will leave a small possie to run with a trailing stop.

Waiting patiently to pounce like a crocodile. I just want her to dip a bit more, so I can add a nice long. 44100-ish (IG), would be a dream come true, but I don't think she wants to sink that low (she got some pride you know :))

And there is also that glaring gap below the breakout point to contend with some time in future...

Short term 60min macd not looking good (strong negative divergence), wondering if we are not going back to the break out point (44144ish futures) on when the Japan stimilus was announced...she tends to do that!Down into end of week before resuming the uptrend?

I also where the 5H 21 sits....!

A

If this uptrend line breaks we going back to 44114ish!

Could be a good short if it breaks...but for the brave as it will be against the bigger trend!

Sorry for the late reply BBW, as you know, when in the market, no forum's/financial news of any kind for me. Still long from 21/10 and looking for a reason to go short.

To your question, the gaps you mentioned were closed (22/9 just after 10:00 on the 23rd and the other one the same day also after 10:00) Trading the longer time frames i only pay attention to the gaps (open/high,not open/close ) on daily charts.

Scalpers looking for quick (small) profits may find the intraday gaps handy, but then you need to be glued to your screen.

Thank you M. So only daily gaps count? Can one trade the smaller time frame gaps or are they too "unreliable"; seems so?

Hard thing to do, sitting tight.

IMHO, the most important thing to do when playing the bigger waves is to reduce your position size and increase your stops.

This will let you have some peaceful sleep, and prevents account wipeout!

Prosperous trading.

K

Thanks K!

I've done pretty well with day trading so far, but I find it slightly more "involving" and I yearn for more peaceful trading... :(

So yaa, come 2015, longer timeframes here I come!

Dude, you are the man!

That's one of my trading objectives for 2015, to learn to sit tight on the longer frames.

Mhlato, what about the gaps @ 46170 (22/9) and 43430 (31/10) on the smaller time frames (1/4/5/ hrs)? Do they not count?

Ps: Guys (and girls) starting a new topic - Please post, or copy, your good (trading/investing) books thereSot
