NOW THIS IS THE CANDLE I WAS LOOKING FOR!!

Bulls are back...expect a mean recovery backup....could see some weakness tomorrow but in my books it very much looks like the low is in!

A

Nice call A see you still leave the backdoor open with some weakness. I closed all my shorts at 41880 and will be on the side as this looks like a real reversal for short term will definately not go long rather wait for another short entry, really want to first see QE end befor I will go long again.Just my view but what a great long call today!

ok didnt know you were not a full time trader.... you a gambler? ...humbly spoken how can one expect to create delta when one does not understand or at least discover the simple technicalities of entry points..in fact for a person that does not watch markets often/always this info in a bear especially I am providing is absolutely the essence one requires....you could simply long or short and only do so at the FIB points...and make a decent trade.. markets are professional environments...oh forgive me. i apologise. good luck to you all

Ai ZoomZ, you make it sound so easy witn your fib counts, where were you when this thing started to tank and didn't call it going so low so we all could have made lots of money?

Swoosh.... ;)

Haha, dude.. The the number of assumptions you made right there in your statement about me... Astonishing.

I really don't have the need or energy to waste to explain myself. So carry on, happy trading and may your account burst with profits.  ;)

why's not....can you see the shooting star there...and can you draw a chart from 31490 to 47280? buy the 38%..maybe too late now....but it had to be a place to cover shorts or at least buy ... remember bear markets ONLY respect fibonacci as chaos prevails golden mean prevails adios...aniinversary...1992 merlot of the highest order

I don't have the time and luxury of sitting and watching the markets all day and with all this volatility I'd rather protect my capital. But yes, it is a "clear" doji, outside the bollinger band, and on the fib retracement level.

Don't quite know what you want me to say? "Well done, you are correct?"

right ajs so look across the screen to the doji/star staring at you....did you buy that doji support coupled to the 38% retracement..good i thought so.

I didn't buy anything.

Thanks for the interesting charts AJS!Hindsight indeed...so many traders got hurt shorting when se just went up and up (most calling the top around 42000?? etc) so when the time came to really short most were scared (including me) !

The best didn't even call this much of a drop, but the world is not ending and me thinks a great opportunity is coming around, this thing actually due to the 7 year cycle and obviously QE3 ending (after every QE program there was a mini crash)...what really has changed since June/July, growth problems etc just a cover, just looking for a reason IMO!

We broke out of a huge consolidation band since 2000 so S&P has to go back to 1570ish to make a retest, given the run we had since 2009 I think this is very healthy and fresh money will flow in, interest rates still low so no where else to put da money!

A

The low normally comes least when expected, this mudslide can't go on forever...looking like a serious reversal here!

I we close deep green and US turns up overnight this might be something of note (that signal)....
