you forgot all the mines, as gold goes up so do they, check the gold index up 3.5 percent today
Gold also has 'some' reputation for a store of value. imo, if gold runs hard, equities will suffer...

I feel for you, decided to go long now that the US is looking good.
I have realised that my greatest mistake is i had too much exposure and scalping 100 pips and allowing bad trades to run into losses of 400 pips was killing me, so from today i will reduce exposure and let profits run and only close trades when there is a change in trend.
Well done!
Too much exposure also my problem, but bought on the low this morning so not too much damage!
Because this is a flat Int IV struture my take wave C not to come and this is her working on the bottom...if she goes up from here a quick impulsive Int V should follow!
But is never set in stone with this woman!

G, i thought there is only one gold company in the JSE Top40 and it has a very small weighting on the index such that it has a very small effect

Yip, went long this morning but bears toying with the bulls...hope for that positive divergence to kick in on the US and take us up with them!

Argento, did you go long already? I surely hope US will save the bulls but could this be wave C down with the move up from Friday being wave B? If wave C = wave A in length, am i right in seeing 44,700 as the bottom where wave 5 should start?
I am still learning these waves
