Reason for my bullishness:

 

- VIX breached the upper bollingerband and usually signals a low in the SPX!

- DOW showing strong positive divergence!

- Pound made a bullish engulfing candle!

 

This Intermediate V of Major V of Primary III should be very impulsive and run hard!

 

Sitting tight isn't always easy and sometimes you need to sacrifice a few points for the bigger take!(Hope you are reading Jakes) ;)

I'm cutting my shorts for a mere 300 points and going long bigtime, will post charts just now as why!

 

Intermediate V has already kicked off with this being Minor 2!

It is pure logic that a better attempt at the 5th is required.

Equally the bull is due to infinite cheap money creating, chasing and supporting the only means of bonus.

Dips are for buying and for keeping the appearance of normality.

Starting to feel more bullish must say.....if she dips tomorrow morning (45900ish futures) I'm taking profits and looking to go long!

 

This looks more and more to a flat structure correction to me...momentum is favouring the bulls!

Must say, it feels nice to pocket a big pay off.

I'm still holding, stop not triggered yet.

You have been a consistent winner on both sides of a trade Jakes, many more times than I can remember. A "biggie" is what you deserve and please do enjoy! Don't change what you do. I am positive that if you go back on your data you have made far more money through short term trades on an aggregated basis than 1 or 2 longer term trades.

The daily (IG) graph looks so cranky. Been hovering around its space for a few days. Shape has taken on an erratic look. Tempted to open a short. Have to keep remembering that ALSI40 is driven by 6 shares BHP, CFR, SAB, NPN, MTN and AGL = around 55% of Alsi40 weighting....then there is the ZAR...ag! let me open that small short.

 

BC, you might want to consider opening a long!!
