The difficulty and uncertainty lies due to the length of time it has taken and the lack of proper news flow
Exactly! How long will £110k last them? Long enough to make it to CB sales????
To my knowledge the selling process has commenced. The lack of news flow is regarding the detail of this, so I wouldn't be too worried. They are surely selling at a reasonable profit. I'm happy to wait it out.

The more I study MRI the more I think it's a dead duck, and the more it looks to me like ACP are being hung out to dry!

Thanks Yellowcake for following up. Trying to do some digging my side.
With this load shedding occurring due to lack of coal, shouldn't MRI be targeted as a possible solution? Does Eskom not know about us? Maybe someone should call Eskom up and tell them about our product? MRI needs to start generating cash to benefit it's stakeholders. (shareholders, creditors, employees, surrounding community, etc)
Hello Eskom procurement my name is Trader 1 & I'm a shareholder in Mine Restoration Investments I heard that you have an energy crisis & I would like to inform you of our company. We manufacture coal briquettes, "they are amazing" so why don't you tell Anglo coal, Exxaro & Optima coal to take a hike buy from us...our stuff is dry...! yes very dry.....like sarcastic dry....!
Is that how it would go...?
Missing the finale isn't it....I'l leave that to Krusty
Anyone need a heads up...!

Thanks for your email.
Not sure I can answer all your questions given I am limited to public information.
I think it is very unlikely MRI would release specifics (by which I assume you mean price) of any sales as these are commercial in confidence to both the buyer and seller. Not sure of difference in announcements but MRI are currently selling fines to Keaton. The fines are dry and there are no problems transporting them which is Keaton problem in any event.
Hope this helps.

Subject: sale of fines
Dear Mr Lewis
A very good morning to you. As an investor in ACP I read with interest last week's SENS release by MRI. It is encouraging to hear about sales commencing to Keaton at the end of last month. Is it MRI's intention to update shareholders on the specifics of the deal? It is after all MRI's maiden contract, which in my opinion would be worth shouting about. The slight niggle I have is that by not releasing the info it suggests that the figures may not be as ideal as hoped for. The other thing I wish to ask, which hopefully you are able to answer, is that there appeared to be a slight difference in the wording of the RNS released by ACP, in that ACP stated it was specifically fines which are being sold, can you confirm or deny this?
One final point I'd like to raise is about the fines themselves, it has been mentioned that either wet or dry the fines pose some difficulty when transporting them. I wonder if you could make comment on this also.
Kindest Regards
and this
I cannot discuss specifics you are correct.
I do not think it is likely MRI will be releasing specifics of it sales -
they are commercial in confidence to both the buyer and the seller. It is
not how commodity markets work. MRI are producing and selling to Keaton as
per MRs last announcement.
With regard to Mpokoto it is progressing very well. As indicated in the
last announcement we will be announcing the results of the scoping study
before the end of this month (in conjunction with the mining licence
application). This will establish some initial economics for the project,
that as we announced are much enhanced by the lower operating cost,
including the overall project NPV even using a $1,200 gold price.

Subject: MRI ..ACP
Hello justin
I trust you are well.....
I understand you can't discuss specifics .... But will we be receiving news
regarding the first sales and that sales contracts contents as mentioned in
the last SENS, RNS . MRI commencing coal sales to Keaton Energy by the end
of the month (feb) ..
On the gold side for ACP I'm very happy ... Licence by the end of the month
and the scouting complete ... Are we still looking at full development of
the Mpokoto project ? I'm sure you at Indaba were looking to progress
this...
Look forward to your response ..
Regards
S####
Fairly conclusive (if true) that there will be no numbers on sales.

Patience is the key here. Let's see what the sales are before we get negative on this one!
When will they post the news of the sales?

Hi All,
I'm new here.
There are rumours flying about that MRI won't be issuing a SENS for the new contract, anyone heard similar?

In the last Sens MRI stated "and will commence sales to them (them=Keyton) before end of month" this is for coal fines in addition to briquette production that are being tested by end user customers. End of month is tomorrow, so this long old winding road to income generation has arrived and can start paying back it's two main shareholders loans. Onwards and upwards from here now.

Well that is terrible news considering the ipo was at 20c per share and there has been a lot of progress since.
Sales before month end? It's already the 26th of Feb...
How are you feeling Peanuts? Are you sticking it in, weathering the storm? Anyone else??

no delivery by management , the market lost patience , the share got sold off on small volume , that is where the vwap of 10 cents is coming from , the lenders is getting a 50% discount , buy in at 5 cents . they are buying 36% of the company for R14m . the company also have to pay interest on the loans from receipt till conversion . there are more loans outstanding , expect a similar deal . management expect you to vote yes , impossible . this is all wrong . one positive - first sales before month end

"MRI’s coal briquetting plant at the Vaalkrantz Mine in Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa (‘the Project’), which commenced operations from run of mine coal in October 2013, has now installed and fully commissioned a re-suspension unit allowing it to operate from the fines stockpile of the plant. With this initial ramp up now complete, the Project can commence full commercial production".
They have been producing briquettes from the 10% run off from the wash plant to date as they are right next to it with their briquette production. The waste fines stockpile is massive, it means now they can eat into the stockpile as and when they wish as well as using the day to day run off. They are ramping up production. Making as many Briquettes as they can. Good News.
