Thanks

What would a good entry point be? Wil there be a dip at open?

so david...you get in at 70.00? ;)

Clever people call for market to open up 70bps...try to see if you can get half Woolies around 6970 ish. I won't chase it to hard as the open though. Still seems as if there is selling around so you may get better opportunity to add later in day closer to 6920 levels.

Spot on guys!  If you look at Wednesday's 15min/30min graphs as well you'll see a big reversal with large buying volumes coming in at the 68 level.  I loaded my first batch (majority) at 68.20 and added yesterday 69.50 as well.

With regards to targets I am still not too sure where I want to take profit though.

One thing I noted about WHL yesterday was a massive volume of nearly 8mil shares. WHL was almost top volume of the day on JSE. The share didn't drop back from this volume meaning that it wasn't forced sales but rather entry seekers. Normal volume for WHL is about 4mil shares a day MAX.

Lets see if I was right at 9am

you quite correct, big volume yesterday..buyers will be coming in around these levels

68.00 would've been a great entry, if not in already you could always buy a third of your position from 70.00 and add balance from 72.50

Any views on WHL, TKG and VOD for a long today? Maybe SHF as well?

heya davidp13...WHL is the clear winner out of those options you listed, VOD might continue up but imo risky entry from 120.00 :-)

Thanks

I find trading like body surfing, catch the right one and you will make it all the way to the beach.

Not sure it's going to pop today...feels as if there is still a big seller in market. Saw some big crosses going thru in name yesterday afternoon...in one case 1m shares were crossed.

Welcome back Batman. Hope you loaded up on Woolies yesterday...I certainly did!! The company will give sales update next week Wednesday and it should be a pleasing update...management still bullish re prospects and it seems Woolies foods is pumping.

I most certianly did buddy before 3pm yesterday. Thought I'd see a leap already by then. But rather late than never. This share has a lot of ground to make up for :$

go go NPN

stopped out

I added more to my NPN long @ 910-00 yesterday. It's just a share that I learnt my lesson with shorts...... Leave it alone or long it
