hdbb - what your thoughts on anglos and implats short term? Holding some (for a while), but looking to set a stop loss level - ideas on a level?

Anglos is building a nice base around mid R225.00.. In fact showing up a like a nice long for a quick bounce up. I would hold and keep a stop around R217.00

 

IMP also moving up slowly . Low of R108.00 the other day was a fantastic price to get in.. Plat has to go up but when is anybodys guess.

Maybe place your stop at previous low of R108.00 and hold on for medium term recovery.

all gaps do close... just timing that can be tricky... luckily i got in yesterday @R67.20  and out already this morning just below R71

And look where it is now - 72.62.  Excellant non the less.  Why did you sell at 71 if it will rise to 77?

CFR out with sens this am... expecting 30% increase in profit due to favourable exchange rates!! Scope for some upside back above R70 at least??

Ninja, do you think the gap CFR formed on the opening will close before upward move?

market sentiment was not great after last set of financial results, competition growing and no real growth drivers compared to MTN which is more diversified.

i think investors are waiting for end year financial statement to see in what direction this boat will sail.

Just added SHP to my shorts at R175.00  ...reason 5day ema went below 20 day sma!!

Looking at R160.00 here for profits if momentum to downside continues!!

Im contemplating a long on Foshini if it breaks above 11557 with 1st target 13000.  Any idea of a relevant stoploss?  Im thinking 11000 but not sure whether thats too tight....

Tfg is good long. Look at the volumes. Its going up.

thanx... need a decent bounce to get out.. positive macd divergence leading me on to wait for that bounce. all i know is that if i sell today, this baby will be up 5% by next week this time...
