Maybe, but I think it went up due to Friday 31/7 being the last day to trade cum entitlement for the rights issue. 

 

 

     The Rights Issue will consist of an offer of 111,111,111 new Mediclinic shares in the ratio of 12.80145 new

     Mediclinic shares for every 100 Mediclinic shares held on the record date of the Rights Issue, at an issue

     price of R90.00 per Mediclinic share.

 

 

At R90.00 and with REM to follow all its rights and underwrite the remaining balance, the rights issue price is a bargain in my opinion.

So, there could be a mild retracement of the closing price on Friday.

Got a keen eye on MTN getting a little too beaten down.

Have a bid in at R200+very small change.

Come results & divi announcement should get a decent run up to LDT

Have taken a short position in Lonmin.

Market has been flagged of impending rights issue, however I don't think they'll be much of an appetite for scrip.

I think they gonna struggle to get money to pay down debt & see it collapsing then being carved up & sold to whoever wants it.

Next years ABIL.....
