Just ride it out if you can. There will be some guys shorting at around 290. (Including myself.)

The RSI, price, MacD and most other indicators are crazy high

Hello gentlemen. I need some advice on Bidvest. I took a short at R270 and has still climbed. Would you cut your losses or short again. Thanks

hi Gspot..yes, those prices are imo good entry points. currently have order just above 26800  it's a big ask as price could reverse but feel its worth a shot

Agreed......lets see the US non farm payrolls, seriously hope for some negativity (but then again markets may rally in hope QE will be in place for longer).  But will also load a cheeky bid at R268 (small though).

should of stayed in KIO longer  ...well done to those who chose fundamental view over technical setup on this trade.

watching APN closely for long, needs to come down bit more before BITE!! :D

Hi Delta66, I am also watching APN closely.  What is your desired entry price?  Im seeing R266/267 level to start nibbling, then adding the kitchen sink around R255 level??

Long KIO and DSY.

Resistance breached on both - I think we will see more upside here.

Adding to VOD short if it breaches 136.

Hi Hooligan, which counterparty are you dealing with in that you say your DSY short was not filled, was it IG or Std bank etc, just wondering, am noob to cfds.
Secondly has it happened that you have been unable to close out a position when you have clipped your stop loss?

Hello Sport,  apologies I should re-phrase...my sell order of 2 days ago was a tad too jewish, and did not strike by 20c.

I play through Standard OST - honestly I'm pretty happy, it is a great platform.  Though it must be said that 35bps spread is a tad expensive.

Anyway, to your question...I'd say 95% of the times things go as smooth as silk.

The only time where my stops have been clipped and not filled is in an instance of gap closes/open.

For example, having a 2% SL on an NPN long...and on the day NPN opens 2.5% lower, so its already passed your SL..it triggers but obviously does not fill.

NASPERS: more Tencent colour:
* Tencent topping the shorts once again at 11.3% of Turnover - not a major surprise
* Negative Barrons blog "Will China Internet and Macau trades continue to work?" - their brief conclusion is that Chinese Internet companies are starting to see downward revision

Tencent...NPN...Eina...I don't know much but the volatility in these 2 names indicates to me something is about to change...can't help but wonder whether the top is in?

Longs playing with fire... Very limited upside compared to risk of huge downside.... Good luck to all longs and may you have balls of steel

Should we be concerned about this short.....

I went short at 13150 a few days ago, doesn't seem to know which way it wants to go, my gut still says short.

I'm still short from 127 and change. Hedge though so happy for it to ride up.

Do not try and bend the market. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. Then you'll see, that it is not the market that bends, it is only yourself.

Phew ^_^
Luckily that DSY short of mine did not get filled yesterday...this thing is running hard.
I might consider a long up to high 90's if it breaks this resistance.

Also closed my KIO long - waiting to see what happens, I won't consider a short at this level...could go either way.
