What are your thoughts on mediclinic. I see a good opportunity for a nice long

thanks, thinking similar(131-132) could run up to 140 so keeping entry small..in case

SL on WHL long upped to 70 (from 68).  We might see 74 here.

Will start shorting from this level.

Sell order in on DSY long at 79, to conclude a 4th scalp from 77 ;)

Rookie question... How closely linked is CFR price with the performance of the rand to other currencies?

Morning All

Has anyone looked at the chart of Mondi? I shorted at 19150 and has been a good trade for me but I dont see an exit price to take my profit.

Maybe when it touches the 100 day moving ave?

PS I am still learning to recognize patterns

Mondi derives a chunk of revenue from Russia. Could this be the reason behind the price dropping from 195+ ?

Seems like harmony is on the verge of having the 50ma cross over above 200ma for the first time since feb 2012.  ^_^ Could something interesting be happening here?

Zero hedge, you could look at this as a way to say that there should be more demand then for imported material

Also Iron ore inventories at Chinese ports back to record highs...2013 you saw restocking in iron ore which is why the price performed much better than expectations...if 2014 is a destocking year then there could be more downside to the price...the inventory cycle is more NB than supply/demand dynamics

Zero hedge, you could look at this as a way to say that there should be more demand then for imported material

Why would they import more iron ore if the steelmakers are closing down? Could be positive long term...but short term negative as they will produce less steel and therefore import less iron ore. Do yourself a favour and go and look what is happening to HRC steel prices in China...it's tanking...there is just too much steel around
