Some common sense starting to creep into IMP pricing...post results.
Sell off may come a little later to avoid holding over the w/end..in case strikers get destructive again...
Anyone need a heads up...!

Taken a modest long position in DSY this morning with a slightly longer term view than I normally have on CFD's
Entry is R78.18 & stop is at R77.35 quite tight stop you may think.....yes it is isn't it...!
Rationale - there's been very healthy ( couldn't help myself sorry ) short term support at R77.50 intraday.
Will take 1/2 profit @ R84ish & let the rest run adjusting stop to just below previous days low.
Given the last week's indecision on the chart, nice risk to reward ratio.
With the latest posts of advice etc..I thought I would explain the trade a little more indepth. Hope it helps some if not....
Same, also in at 77.52 with a TP of 84.
Also currently long VOD at 117 looking for a break up top in the next week or 2.
I need to get out of my SHP long, sell order in at 141 Hope it strikes today...looks unlikely!
Anyone trade some currency here?
Long USD:ZAR starting to look attractive...hmm I'm adding the 1st order at 10.68.

Thanks. Helps me a bit yes; been holding a while now, from 7920. Reluctant to let go as I like their business plan, and I feel better every month they take my money (same with VOD and MTN)!

is there anywhere where one could go for some mentoring or lessons on CFD.
it starts HERE..on public forum. there's also a paid service specifically CFD/ALSI trading orientated(not putting it up as i don't want to infringe any policies, just PM me or ask around)
post your trade here, be receptive to criticism(if there is any)...and you should be on your way to a good start/best of luck

OML you beauty... i'm in the money today!
I've been long on this one since R26.36 , have to watch if the right shoulder does form after today's results!... but i believe it's just gonna continue up for a while.
Flippen well done!

Thanks Delta and @SGF, appreciate your input a lot. I've given up trading this share due to only being worse off in the end; not just hanging on - long term CFDs.
What indicators do find works best for CML, or do you mostly used trend and resistance lines, or BB like Orca? I've found the 4h 50MA and 20 MA to be quite indicative??
Sorry, NOW just hanging on! Also only buying more with any dip.

Anyone looking at VOD atm? The formation from end Jan to yesterday seems promising?
I find trading like body surfing, catch the right one and you will make it all the way to the beach.

yep..a phenomenal performer. most of my 'easy" money has been made on CML in my LT port. i normally add to LT whenever opp arises ie. corrections of over 10%

no stops
but thanks for heads up
Yes, CML's not a share that you trade with stops. Buy and hold. Count yourself lucky (or very good - Delta?) if can sell high and buy lower. I've sometimes been lucky that way, but most times actually lost out in the end.
Yes, I'm punting; so what?! It's an excellent company (and share/CFD) to have in your portfolio "permanently".

For CML. Be careful of where you place the SL. She loves grabbing the SL with a R2.50 to R3.00 quick down spike and back up again.
If I had a trade on it, I would put it at R1.00 below the BBL as she always bounces off it with some odd overshoots.
no stops but thanks for heads up
