stupid,stupid mistake and one that could of/should of been avoided

Yes, that's the one; giving it a try. Sorry, been away from my computer rest of the day. Just can't win against these MarketMakers (IGM) - had SL on my ALSI short @ 38370 which stopped out, but my long's Profit Limit of 38380 missed out; now again have to ride it out for the night... (after a profitable weekend).

I was also contemplating an AMS short earlier based on the good advice but I was not able to get a short CFD on it? I'm using Standard Bank on line. I'm I doing something wrong?

yes, thanks.  better prospects beckon...hopefully   had to close on a few positions today to free up some capital. still in the money and happy.

Anyone looking to short Amplats?  Trading at the top of a trading range going back all the way to June 2010.  Share up about 40% in 2 months.  MACD and RSI at heavily overbought areas.  I am looking for a drop to mid to low R300's.  Currently at R408

 

Looks good actually for a short...

 

Might just need to watch the weak rand, China data etc.
