Went long Capitec 53000, it has had a nice run and I'm weighing cash-in vs. keeping this as a momentum stock and even adding to it as it corrects.  Any thoughts from the forum?

Was just thinking that with dividends being rather consistent (from dividend paying companies monthly), then the Satrix divvy price would month on month increase (generally speaking).  But as you say, if it is a slow upward trend, then the interest charge would offset the gain/profits.......

the interest offset is caveat ..tried it, better options available imo

i tried satrix once on CFD.... the movement was just way to slow to justify the cost.

LOL Delta, are you stalking my trades  !!  I also bought my first tranche at R134......bought only 400cfds!!  Hoping to build up a decent holding of 1500-2000cfds.

That's interesting and explains why you have a 6th sense for this business.  Only CFD's or other derivatives/instruments as well? 

vanilla type "contract for difference" at around 10-15x gearing.  have dabbled in more exotic instruments but prefer simpler method

Was long from 9975 and saw 10375 (TP10475), might add some more around 9600 if it gets to that.
