This wait now is ridiculous. Where are our AXL shares? Name was registered over 3 weeks ago. Time to lift the suspension already...

The wait is real....  :o

They are registered now:

They better get the ball rolling now and would love to see how much cash we have laying around.  I would think immediate 30c-40c dividend to shareholders if cash not used for new business.  Should have around R600-700m in profits at this stage?

Will investors still have their full allocation of shares they previously had in Abil?

“One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. Which road do I take? she asked. Where do you want to go? was his response. I don't know, Alice answered. Then, said the cat, it doesn't matter.” - Lewis Carroll

Notice African Phoenix Investments has been registered on CIPC. Expect SENS shortly with new listing schedule. Goodluck.

I have a bucket load of these at average 37c

I had already written these shares off as a loss, are you sure they will still be worth something?

If so, you just made my day. :)

Lucky! i'm averaging 58c.

2.7bn market cap would be R1.  Don't think that is far fetched given the potential dividends from Stangen run down over the next few years.

Thanks for information! I did read the CIPC delay as well :)

I picked up a nice sum of these shares at 31c , will hold on to them for quite a while and see where this road goes :)

Tiny bit confused with this whole story,

1) The shares were meant to be listed yesterday according to SENS?

2) Are we as previous shareholders meant to do anything or do our ordinary shares get transferred automatically to African Phoenix Investments?

3) They also state a record date tomorrow for new shares and some rubbish about 10 October

Sorry if i sound naive, any information would be appreciated thanks

Delay due to CIPC.  Do a name search for African Phoenix investments and you will see that the name has yet to be registered even though this was due 20th Sep.  So delay outside control of company.  Once registered I think listing will happen within 2 weeks of that date.

There is no transfer.  You shares will start trading again automatically under the new name (AXL)

I welcome the delay as full year results are due next month.  This may offer a boost to the share price.  if EPS is another 30c (+10c left over from first 6 months) that would entitle us ordinary shareholders to a potential 40c dividend or the company may wish to reinvest this into new business.

I am looking forward to the boards strategy with regards to new route to market strategies to leverage current customer base which may offer lift to the PE it trades at.  Who knows we may get an offer as well.  R1 is entirely possible on listing.  Few hedge fund managers need to close shorts when it relists as well which may give price a much bigger boost.

any ideas if they will be offering stock to the market, or just re list with current shares. This could be one of those stocks that could be a multi bagger stock. If they get everything right

Relist with current shares - but there is room to issue new shares for capital if required according to the AGM doc.  The first half of the year  produced 29.5c per share.  So assuming similar performance 2nd half of the year we looking at a value of 60c per share.  Now the question is what PE abil will trade on.  What is the life expectancy of Stangen and where are the profits going to be invested?

PE of 1 = 60c? PE of 3 = R1.80?  Personally I see a short squeeze happening as well during the first week of trading so R2 may not be too far fetched in the short term.
