AVL announcing rights offer today, the price of the offer is surprising at 130c with the share currently trading at 118. Usually rights offers are priced at a discount. Why would someone take up the rights offer if they can buy it cheaper on the market?

EPS/HEPS to decrease by more than 30%, Will be sitting on a PE of around 29.
Earnings is in line with the profit forecast as detailed in the prospectus.
I participated in the IPO, took a long term punt with a small percentage of my portfolio. Want to add to my existing holding, difficult to make a decision with such limited info. Really like the business model, but for now this is nothing more than a gamble.
Any thoughts?
The business model is good, but that P/E is too high, they need to increase earnings considerably to justify that P/E, I wont add at current levels and will wait for a pullback, looking to go long @ +- 130c

My guess:
Illiquid small cap that small retail investors are driving up.
Could come back just as quickly when buyers dry up.
Looks like the momentum ran out...slowly coming back down to earth

Still going strong, very surprised. Momentum seems to be on the positive side.
What are we missing here? The analysts sure got this one wrong.

cdb999, it's too late to get in. No-one knows where this one is going, but logic seems to suggest that down is a lot more likely given it's brief history and the speculation out there (together with no mention of this in the prospectus and no cautionary from AVL or NTC or any related parties). We have also not had a profit taking period given the pop at the IPO.
I got out at 250c - couldn't sit and watch this one all day long.
shi, thanks, I got in at 1.50, and out at 2.30. but it keeps climbing.. and was thinking of getting back in.
but i hear you.

I got in at 198. This is just what happened with POY. Price shot up into a lamp post and then plummeted. And is still plummeting. I love the growth I've received, but all it's going to take is for one of the big guys to pull their shares and the price will dive.

"There are talks in the market that advanced health in talks to buy out Medicross and Lesedi Clinics . Anyone who has more information? "
If this is so, shouldn't there be a cautionary if this will have an impact? Or is it just speculation? Damn I hope I was right about selling out, otherwise this train has left the station!

Perhaps there is something we don't know but given current info we have I can't pathom why it would shoot up like this.. I'll wait on sidelines and regret it probably later but with current info can't jump in!

Very little mention so far of two little words .... Long Term ... !
Why all the noise and drama with it's 175% climb to date if (I, for one) am interested in it's 2020 price...?
For sure it will be above 275 by then me thinks ...

Medicos, going up because of ........ Takeover bid!
Nope, drugmakers are going up on back of potential M&A. NTC and MDC (hospitals) are both up on the back of very strong financial results.
