2 min chart has given a buy signal....now moved to 3 min and waiting for signal there...no long yet!!

if anyone want to go long, only go long on break of 45617 (bid)...

 

target to 45717 minimum!!

First real genuine buy/sell signal on 5 min coming up...if and only if 13ema crosses above 34ema then long..Otherwise stay short!!

 

But I wont trade it till 10.30 when UK news comes out!!

 

UPDATE; stay short or enter short...FTSE coming off its high bigtime!! Are their traders nervous or someone their is trading with early info??

I feel your pain Plasma. I stopped using stops the day the market dropped exactly 382 pips to take out my stop and then move 400 pips higher in the next ten minutes. My poor dog had a tough evening that day.

Don't mind a stop being taken out and the market then continues lower, BUT WHEN THE FLIPPEN STOP HUNTERS TAKE IT OUT ON THE PIP AND AND THEN MOVE HIGER....IT MAKES ME DE ....... IN.

45744 cash & 45783 before opening. Will offload both at 45800

Hey HDB, I smaak your system stukkend!

I use it longer term though. 5 min is far too short for me. Id never be able to focus in some of the 3 to 4 hour meetings I have to attend. Will have to take leave to day trade.

good resistance off pivot considering internationals not playing along but still early..afternoon session should see a break out of thin channel

delta i get your reason, but as long as price is trapped on the 1HR chart im not taking any trade

With deep regret! I took a 73p beating because I didn't wait for the price to be above 34ema. Do you still think that opening underlying will be possible

OUV plays itself off by latest 9.30am...FTSE and pound changes considerably and so does true underlying...!!

 

Howver im still bullish today ,,,,well until 2pm...after that Dow can take us where it wants!!

reason for entry -  bullish recent session indicated high prob of a bounce off pivot
