u have to play around with the different periods and ccis to get a feel to what suits you best and you risk appetite!!  u can even use 3 min for entry!!

continuous switch between 5min and 30 min...and 14cci and 50cci!!

 

30min and 50cci shows longer term trend...5 min is your entry!!

Do you mean the number periods? On the 5 minutes it is mostly 14.
