yes..if u went long at 9.05...13ema would still have kept u long in the trade from around 45980

 

13ema never went below 34ema..

13ema straightening slightly!!

 

204 and 34ema still pointing upwards though!!

I started trading a couple of months ago without a clearly defined system and going on gut feel. That did not work and I am quite a bit in the red on my account but learning as I go along. You seem to have the right approach. Some of the mistakes I made which hopefully you will be able to avoid are as follows :

- trading without a system

- adding to losses in the hope that the market will turn

- opening big positions on the Top40Cash (it is better to start with small amounts with stops in place.)

- being too impatient

 

I am almost starting afresh again and stopping to read the instructions before I continue and hopefully will do better this time around.

 

Good luck with your trading and I hope that my limited experience will assist you.

I have read through the entire thread 100 + pages and applied the updates to the system. Besides learning a really great system this thread has also opened my eyes to the inner workings of the MM.

 

I really am looking foward to using this system live and seeing how i do with the pressure of trading with real money.

ps ...13ema was 46195 which it hit when I made the call...so already 70p u could have made if you did the trade!!

defo not brave enough to long all way to 450..ill take the small profit and live with being a coward
