Hi

I got in @ R3,80

Please advise how the rights issue works

By when do South Africans have to pay for it and will our brokers contact us

Once the shares are issue - around what price are we looking at this settling

For eg if you have 10000 * R3,80 = 38K

Rights issue is 46,000 *R0,21...

Net cost is around 23-24 cents per share

Where will the share price settle? seems to good to be true on face value if you take up the rights or am I reading it wrong

TX

Are you aware of what you actually bought......plus what you NOW own.....From the above post you're R38k investment will turn into a R134k investment or zero.

Do some research on rights issues....try investopedia...The market does not give away "free" money that's why we share ideas/opinions on sites like this.

Good luck

Yes you're reading it wrong.....Are you in already...?....You're now on the hook for another R96k

so if I but that one does it entitle me to the rights issue and upto what date is that share tradeable

The people who will get the rights are the ones who are bleeding now. They are the ones who bought the share cum rights. In other words, the ones who voluntarily got butt nipped.

will there be a price consolidation post rights - ie increase the price and reduce your shares.

If there is then there will be limited upside.

Now that it's approved... Expect last lot of losers to sell out and walk away, only serious shareholders will fork out and get the 46 extra shares at .214c

Then everybody becomes a buyer and no sellers

Platinum price recovers, mining continues and everyone is happy

Alternatively, platinum prices don't recover, they go bankrupt again in 6months time and u loose everything u put in now
