covered all ZAR trading positions....portfolio pozzis leaving as is...took huge PV cover of course...will add ZAR  longs 16.67...16.87 and higher...but IMO....Rand now goes to R5 to the dollar before it goes to 17.50....Yar Zar the TSar!

Morning...well there  is some upward 'adjustments'  necessary  on alsi...and I said if the dow holds 16000 and does so certainly above 16330...alsi will easily  touch 45000...45500..China and the metals complex is not helping today howevver...so could be a choppy open...probably even close up gap IMO...review 9 am

 

 

alsi could resist 44637 and then test possibly retest 330 IMO...but all looks good for longs...at the momo

Short IG 44250. That level seems ridiculous to me. Means Alsi opens 44650. Unlikely.

the Zar trade I made...the underlying is 7% stronger....I am geared 10 times that....super stuff....it was a no- brainer....and  I know no one here followed me.....high 6 figures...and all my clients followed on their Portfolio calls. whoosh. cover long Rand 15.87.....no shorts until 16.17 is breached..will add longs above 16.67..77

again...I am right....symetric orders level 4....alsi is very strange today indeed....okay we didnt go to 500 again...high after my post was 44354...(and no way close near / at 44500)....but here we are collapsing....go figure.

of course one could argue the markets have done a bit too much....if one is a late seller one wants  out...so check the 90 minute chart....see that 155 ema???,,,,we gotta go down and test it soon....Yar for sure.

well markets are sitting on last HOD support../swiss up and stable...seems like a retest to 500..550 at least them slightlly higher...close at or near 44500 IMO...lessee...metals might argue with this..take us lower.

For anyone who cares. My trading strategy is pretty simple. Selling into area of support. First arrow entry after show of weakness in area of support. Second arrow, second entry, more weakness. 3rd arrow, 3rd entry, strength into area of resistance. Confirmation of trend.

 

Short stops 60 basis points below entry level for all entries. 

 

I took profit on first entry at yellow line. Area of resistance. Second yellow line took profit second entry. Still holding last entry for push higher. 

 

I know this is zooms thread but cool if people would share their trading methods at times.

Cappin ZZ just got a sms from Vern...Vern skiing right at the top of the Matterhorn.....'cos Vern says everyone that Matters skiis the Matterhorn....Vern arrives their lst week with one ski...took his HARDBULL'sfoot Dam (Haartbeespoort Dam) slalom ski to France skiing.....skiing the matterhorn downhill..slalom...

 

Vern choons me on SMS..that Dow....is a K.a.k reversal....a seriaas k.a.k reversal......Vern got his long wave radio with him up there....he checked the BBC fin news ...said Dow now down plenty from highs...a k.a.k reversal.
