It will keep going upwards in the following weeks I think.
There will be a run-up to Q1 numbers. All operating units seem like performing exceptionally well.
In March there will be an Index check for the S-Dax. With current market cap and volumes Steinhoff will be added again. Meaning funds need to buy to reflect the Index.
Full year numbers coming up in April.
So the next three months will see some big spikes either way.
Apparently PIC has bought more shares in January.
Very interesting to note on legal claims. GP seems like to be solved very soon hopefully. If this is the case the share price will rise sharply. Why? If those legal claims are out of the way they will help to increase Steinhoffs market cap. A higher market cap of Steinhoff would mean that there is value in the company which would defeat most (excl. Tekkie town) of the vendor claims as they are claiming that Steinhoff is worth nothing. (They got Steinhoff shares for their businesses).
Think about it, if Steinhoff manages to get all vendor claims under one basket, it would mean that this will be deferred for years to come. But, that would be beneficial to Steinhoff because if the operating units perform well and the loans are refinanced the share price will rise making most of the vendor claims useless as they are claiming Steinhoff is worth nothing however it actually is in the next couple of years.
Just my thoughts.
