Pepkor results are good (according to me).
The assets are sold and increased, the operations, revenue, and profit have increased.
Steinhoff liquidity will improve with the amount of cash coming from Pepkor distribution of dividends.

"Steinhoff isn't out of the woods. The forensic report it commissioned from PwC LLP may be released as soon as this month and the retailer still has to publish its full-year financial statements for 2017. Keeping Mattress Firm from collapsing completely and ensuring creditors continue to prop up Steinhoff will also be part of du Preez's job description".

Anticipation of up or down?
There were people who have been speculating that the share price would start moving up in October and Nevember, but the opposite happened and still happening.
But maybe the coming months would be different, my guess is that once the audited statements are out, and on every financial outlet, the the institutional investors will not be able to stay without any exposure to Steinhoff, while having exposure to all the over priced stocks out there, and what happened to Steinhoff might very well happen to any of those stocks.
No news. Down.
My view. Instructional investors will not get involved here, anymore then they already am.

Some article quoted Nov. Don't think it's credible. So will keep on shorting....but keep no open position in anticipation.

The news about the PwC report might come in November, is it based on any credible source? (next week is the last wekk of November).
What affect will the publishing of the report have on the share price (up or down, or initial sharp up then sharp down) ?
My thought: If as they say in the news that the fraud was continuously happening since 1998 and on big sizes, then either Stienhoff would have gone out of business long time ago (but it always and still is in business), or Jooste would have been mega rich (he's now possibly insolvent, but I don't know where he's paying his lawyers from).
What do you guys think, am I getting the story wrong?
