Company is cooked in.my opinion. Hence, going long before lock up, then short before results... with a stop..in case I'm wrong

Leo.... U read about all the debt snh finds itself in... U really looking forward to their results? This company is fckd...more debt than anything else

Rather look at what they're doing to fix it and u'll have a better indication after fy19 I think...remember they blamed soccer world cup for poor performance in Europe last results.....they gonna blame the poor economy for next set of results.... I wouldn't be surprised if they blame Trump for something.

your q on R4 or R1 is a guess as good as any.... Don't ask Tobiass tho.... He called R9

Mattress Firm Approved to Borrow $525M to Fund Bankruptcy Exit

(Bloomberg) --Mattress Firm Inc., the bed retailer of Steinhoff International Holdings NV, wins court approval to borrow $525 million to fund its exit from bankruptcy.
Mattress Firm would get a $125m asset-backed loan and a $400m term loan, under financing package approved by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Sontchi in Wilmington, Delaware Monday morning
Sontchi also approved various fees associated with the exit financing; those fees include about $3.2m associated with the ABL and $22.3m associated with the term loan, Mattress Firm lawyer William A. Evanoff says in court

Company also says its parent, Steinhoff, will meet with creditors next month as part of a separate bankruptcy case in the U.K.

In the U.S. case, Mattress Firm is closing hundreds of stores and negotiating rent cuts on hundreds more as part of a pre-packaged bankruptcy plan that comes before Sontchi for final approval in mid-November, company attorney Bojan Guzina says in court
Should Sontchi approve that reorganization plan, the company would close the ABL and term loan

Can you please post the link

Interesting interview: https://twitter.com/...888356649480193 Hahaha like the comment he said this will cost shareholders nothing! So lawyers pulling the Mother Teresa trick. They will go to courts or force SNH to pay but will not costs shareholders anything. There is always someone paying!! In this case will be the existing shareholders and even old share olders that bought in to reduce the average cost. I hope the courts though this out with costs maybe if lawyers burn they fingers this type of thing will stop. The same institution investors that dumped the share and made the price to collapse are now wanting compensation.

The 10% they will get from their money lost will be worth nothing in 10 or 15 years anyway with inflation and stuff so it is a waist of time suing Steinhoff. It will just be bad for anyone and only good for the lawyers.

German TIPL, and South African LHL law firms, are holding Conferences for Steinhoff class action tomorrow Monday 29-10-2018 in Cape Town, then Tuesday 30-10-2018 and Wednesday 31-10-2018 in Johannesburg, as shown in the following link:

I urge all investors that want to attend, to ask those lawyers for dropping the case against Steinhof (only) or to ask them for at least a 6 months freeze period on any legal proceeding against Steinhoff (only).

While at the same time ask those lawyer to fully open cases against all other possible respondents (other than Steinhoff) possibly suspected of fraud, reckless or negligence, like former Chairman, former CEO, former CFO, former members of the audit committee in their personal capacities, and against their insurances, and against Deloitte, Roedl & Partner, Standard Chartered, Commerzbank,...etc, (all except Steinhoff, as it's not in the best interest of Steinhoff share holders to open a case against Steinhoff, as this will keep hammering the share price).

Agree, we can only hope for this. But, I do not think people that lost last year, have any mercy or logical thinking(keep SNH alive) for people still hoping for a recovery.

Best would be to proof fraud by the Former Chairman, deep pockets(well, they were deep anyway) and a R59Bil claim removed instantly.
