not really as flipkart was already earning, for Naspers investing in 'new' frontiers have long runway before earning from those investments.  At this point IMHO only serious value in Naspers is Tencent, and to get value they have to sell shares (in 3 years time).  Dividends on Naspers low for number of shares you need to own to make a something.  Still a great investment.

Whilst the rumourful news is being forever analyzed by the non-techs, and the air becomes increasingly rarified, the chart has moved on without a care for any of it.

Surely when tencent list music ipo in usa there should be upswing..i still think even present value still good for naspers..

You dont think part of dip due to china banning their latest game yesterday..for now im happy buying at 3000...im sure value naspers more than that as long term investment..they were saying at least 4000..?

I think Naspers is going to come under renewed pressure. Tencent was an over achiever with fantastic numbers last quarter. Surprising for company to be in the red after double digit previous report. I could be wrong. Rand hedge stabilized price perhaps. But the large equity and market risk creates concern. Naspers could touch 2800 or lower if there are any questions in the fundamentals. Despite the decline many would continue to hold the share going forward. I Rebalanced my portfolio at 3300

 This was written before the tencents results were out so best to ignore it as now TC getting hammered and will continue to do so next few days.
