If you wanted to trade (but sell in days to months- is this swing trading?) or hold shares like naspers Bat, richemond etc.and know when to exit. what time scale on techs would you recommend putting in...? using the charts to judge your entrance and exit prices...Soley individual shares on jse..Thanks

for swing trades best to use daily or even weekly charts...For entries you can use the 4 hour chart!!

just to inform you one chart could be interpreted differently by 3 specialist tech analysis and end of day all could be wrong. 

 

So just saying , and  does not mean tradingview analysis is right or wrong.

 

What you should be doing is learning from there ideas on how to read the charts.....and drawing your own charts and making your own decisions.

 

 

I do day trading for alsi and use 5 min charts,  .  For shares , its very difficult to day trade... You need at least 3 days to let your trades run to make some money on share cfds..  if just for day you may not even recover your costs/commissions.

Does anyone have any opinions on tradingview.com for tech analysis...  eg with naspers if you put in 5 min on techs its generally a buy...any ideas how accurate their figures are or alternative sites that offer the same service...this would really simplify things if it works as shows all figures and an overview to buy sell or hold..and its free. what time frames  would be best to put in for day trades and what would be best for long term trading/investng..another eg BATS Showing sell on 5 min and 1 min , their rsi showing at 30.9.Thank you.
