Hi Lionelza1, yeah same I cant believe the price has shot up like this just because a voluntary update

My average cost was 51 cents and I have sold now at 1.06.

Will monitor it closely but for now I'm out and happy with my profits. It might still go up but who knows haha

Good update for Ascendis. Volumes have increased significantly today. We gonna break 10 million shares. Plus its going in the right direction. One to watch out for.

This is indeed a good update Andi, to be honest I wish they do not get to sell  Remedica just yet, this is a great business for Ascendis in my view. Lenders will come to the party with regards to their debt restructuring. Their are a cash generative business. I am also with you on the recovery for this one.

After selling the crown jewels, what remains ? The script is always the same go full hardy accumulating debt in acquisition sprees, the economy stalls, they sell the crown jewels and the business is not sustainable anymore......almost happened to Blue...almost destroyed thier good business because of cell c

Share price probably because of debt levels and inability to sustain payments in time. Concern maybe that may not get sufficient for remedica business and remaining assets may not be able to service remaining debt....
Difficult to call this... Could be a aveng at 2c in time.... I am waiting to jump on... Depending on the sale of remedica and if they can get AR least 7b for it a🙏

Results are promising, If they can just find an arrangement with debtors the share price should fly.

 

- Group revenue up by 12% to R3.9 billion
- Normalised EBITDA up by 6% to R611 million
- Normalised operating profit 2% lower at R425 million
- Normalised headline earnings for continuing operations down by 9% to R170 million
- Normalised HEPS for continuing operations 9% down at 35.1 cps

 

They still managed to report a 35 cents HEPS. Current share price sits at 50 cents lol. 

 

NAV is at 2.3 billion rands. So NAV per share is around 4 rands.

Well results are due this month. I think they will announce a plan going forward very soon.

They have declined the first offer on the remudica business so I think they are still a going concern. There is still a nice net tangible asset value left.

I bought some already. Will consider to buy more at around 20 and 30 cents.

Should trade with extreme caution here... Think this share could be suspended. No feedback provided on restructuring debt and perhaps unlikely to be profitable with debt servicing exceeding profits. Remedica sale postponed, if a buyer is found at right price may see a nice pump here...... But not getting in with this one... Not touching woth a barge pole until news forthcoming on restructuring and sale of Remedica at r7 billion.... Sale may probably come in at r5b... Not enough to save this entity....
