Perreby has been around along time. 3,357 posts, yip over 3000. He use to give some good info, go back look who he works for, or use to. He stopped posting, cause I think some1 gave him crap. But please do not assume you talking to some1 that does not know about investing.

Hello Perreby....

Orca, I think I hold more CML shares than you .... But I am not so worried about its daily movements.

You guys cry and cheer about this stock every day. Panic when it falls and walk around big chested when it gains.

Its like a soap opera on here...

Do not try and bend the market. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. Then you'll see, that it is not the market that bends, it is only yourself.

While I agree in part, it wouldn't be a forum if people didn't express their opinion frequently... Thats the whole point of a forum... ongoing discussion....

Very simple. Most other stocks are not as consistent and reliable as CML. Except of course this hickup.

Perhaps you are cross with us for making good money with it.

So are most other stocks...

This forum's fascination with this stock fascinates me

Perreby, have you got an alternative; anything else you can recommend?? (Even Apple stopped it's run...) IS there and alternative??!

By correction you mean it will go down in November? Must hold or sell?

I would think that this will get priced slowly. I am holding.

it's due to their performance over the last couple of years coupled with the fact that some have holdings totaling 6 figure multiples...

The 20SMA has been support for CML for years and now might just have become resistance.

attachicon.gifCMLres.jpg

I'd like an update of this chart please, considering where CML is currently (61.65).

Is the coast clear to long CML? I really want a Range Rover this December

Too late I think. It will now bounce around 60 and 58 for some time by the looks of the charts. Many foreigners have withdrawn as we will see with the next results. The AUM will be less and in this market the income will also be less. So I expect a correction come November.

Cheers for this post - or more importantly the graph. I use fin24 for storing my shares but  had no idea that it can generate these kind of graphs. Guess I never hit that "view interactive chart" button before..

This will keep me occupied for the day.

You are welcome. The good thing about that site is that you can copy the URL/Hyperlink, paste into a new window then change the value after the last "=" to any other equity or alternatively a Unit Trust code which you can get from equinox.co.za  and you can apply the SMA and EMA default values to see how your investment is doing!
