Fair enough, TFG is on a pe of 11 when most your retailers are on a 20+ PE. It does seem like the cheapest buy in the retail sector but then you need to ask yourself, why is it trading at such a PE discount relative to the rest of the sector?

CML has been making quite a few acquisitions lately (SPP, EXX, TFG). One wonders whether its a case of them getting a bit "big" in terms of assets under management and the need to utilize the capital inflows from new clients or whether there is indeed value in their selected stocks. I find it interesting that they have taking positions in retailers, both SPAR and FOSCHINI given the pessimistic outlook from the rest of the market. This will be interesting to watch in the up and coming months.
its not just them, there seems to be general consensus among fund managers that TFG is a value buy at current levels. give me some time and i'll post a few articles relating to this.

HDB, the Doom and Gloom prophet has spoken. I can't wait to tell him that he has been stopped out TWICE with CML. I bet he's sweating now.
Please leave me the honours to do so. You can clap later.

You were missing the point of my post.. I dont care if you hold R5 000 000 worth of CML
I have a VERY big holding in CML.. Yet I do not worry about it on a daily basis and keep a book of the share. And continuously posting about the share is not gonna help the share go up

Calm down... you sound like a grumpy old man... ( a rich one tho! hahaha)

Sorry if I offended you Perreby but I was merely replying to your post about "mine is bigger than yours".

Orca, I think I hold more CML shares than you .... But I am not so worried about its daily movements.
You guys cry and cheer about this stock every day. Panic when it falls and walk around big chested when it gains.
Its like a soap opera on here...

Perreby has been around along time. 3,357 posts, yip over 3000. He use to give some good info, go back look who he works for, or use to. He stopped posting, cause I think some1 gave him crap. But please do not assume you talking to some1 that does not know about investing.
Hello Perreby....

Hello Perreby....
Hello, no offense intended to Perreby and from his reply above it does indicate he did not think so either . He looks like he has more polish (and money) than most of us on this forum !
