Here is the resistance points.

 

Buy into strength, sell into weakness! Don't want to be shorting it just because it trades at a high PE and crossed R1k, still remains a strong counter.

Yes I am but are wondering whether it is not time to lock in some profit...but NPN has lagged Tencent to such an extent that the current NPN rump is actually negative...let's hope Tencent plays ball come Monday morning

Ja well there seems to be great momentum now in tencent and naspers-both at all time highs. Little nudge from the US could send them both flying higher..

So based on the current price of Tencent and Mail.ru (in Russia) the market is assigning a negative value to the remainder of the NPN portfolio i.e. the pay tv, print and other e-commerce businesses which is harsh. But in the end any view on where NPN share price goes next is a call on Tencent...until NPN management plays the next ace.

Do not look at NPN and Tencent move on NYSE as those markets merely track what happened earlier in day in Hong Kong and SA. If you want to know what NPN is likely to do on Monday then look at how Tencent trade in Hong Kong first thing Monday morning. Tencent is more than 80 percent of NPN value so where Tencent goes NPN follows with some lag.

...reason being Hong Kong and JSE is where the liquidity is so that is where the price is made. NYSE merely mirrors those 2 markets.

The question is how far NPN will head up :). Monday should be a cracker after the huge move up by the states, including tencent and naspers on the NYSE. what are your thoughts?
