I got into Shf a couple of years back @ R18 a share.
It is still trading at a PE of about 10.
And never really got above that.
Why has this share always been discounted?

That's the cheapest Rand hedge.

yes, could of picked it up at 252.00+- on the opening but have to consolidate my holdings, sticking to my plan on not acquiring any new positions...xmas season would like to take a break from the mental stress and ease up a little until next year's madness starts again .  running quite a number of contracts on diff instruments so this is a tough wrap down.

You could almost have had it for your typo price today. And now you'll struggle to get it for your edit. I've been riding the APN wave for a while with little to be happy about, finally some action today and a small smile (whilst also getting a smack from TFG) Can't have everything.

I've been following this forum for a while now - good insights!

 

So yesterday tore me a new one - blasted down so fast my SL limits did not even trigger.

 

Anyway, my situation is dire   hopefully some relief today...

 

More pain for me today...damn that Rand is just not holding.

 

Topped up my long in SHP at R168.

Topped up long in DSY at R78.65

 

Time to transfer that credit card limit to cater for cash float

TFG - killing me slowly will cut if it breaches 97.00 and open a massive short taking back my loss. theres a strong possibility TFG heading 90.00 and under, bad news for SA in general will exacerbate the decline very fast

delta, what are your thoughts on america bringing the market down as a result of good job numbers today and tomorrow? if they are really good it could come down a lot until the 18th when they announce if they are tapering or not...
