Yes. Too close??

Well... No, I was actually thinking that is one hell of a way down.  What is your TP then to make the risk/reward still decent? For me a break below R300 would be the first warning sign and then maybe 295-294-ish.

I was just wondering though...

Think SOL poses a good buying opportunity at these support levels.

Trying to figure out the best way to increase my position in running/gaining trades in a good way. Any suggestions?

for me it's a case of never adding when a trade is in the green. i only add when running against me but can recall several trades that could of worked extremely well had i added on their momentum.

Thanks. Seems to have very much the same thinking as I do. I do a 2nd buy-in at +-4-5% draw-down and will then consider a 3rd buy-in or SL at another 4-5% down, depending on supports, news and fundamentals.

But that's the easy part; taking profit is still a "taai tameletjie".

difficult for me to answer the draw down % as every trade differs, suffice to say i rarely close trades losing even on averaged down positions when/if a trade approaches uncomfortable exposure" i then only set a stop around 2% of the capital.

What is your draw-down on your first trade before you open the second, and where do you put your SL then?
