Thinking about buying 50% now, if it doesn't turn now I'll average it down. 

good strategy..i use a similar discipline in 80% of my trades with very few losses to win ratio

Waiting for a SAB long @ R520

Also waiting for support to kick in. Thinking about buying 50% now, if it doesn't turn now I'll average it down.

Agree. If cfr deal falls thru price will fall and they will pick more up on cheap.


The press release looks like a case of last minute desperation on the part of Bidvest. Compared to the CFR proposition I don't see any material value being created by going with Bidvest. Looks to me like they are just trying to garner support from PIC so they can stick a spanner in the spokes of the deal.

Bidvest bid R70 a share for 34% stake. Now what will the price do this morning? Will it react as if a bidding war has started? Or will it fall as a result of the CFR deal being in jeopardy. Probably R70 is a floor either way.

If you can hold for a while I am sure you will be rewarded for patience. This is a great share and product that is in a long term demand cycle. Am waiting to see what happens if it starts hovering around R378 at that level its a progressive buy.

Just read this mornings articles to get clarity. Hmmm, seems like they have already agreed to achieving 25.1% over 10 years. Think I will hold off on a short for the time being.

Think I might just join you on this one. How is someone from Chile supposed to understand that giving away a 1/4 of the company you have just bought makes good business sense?
