delta, what are your thoughts on america bringing the market down as a result of good job numbers today and tomorrow? if they are really good it could come down a lot until the 18th when they announce if they are tapering or not...

Which way do you think it will go today? I'm getting very nervous with the short Ive got on GFI.

pain rally continues for miners again...SGL -6%
thinking of accumulating small amount at around these levels(under 12.00)
anyone else looking to buy under 12.00?
Which way do you think it will go today? I'm getting very nervous with the short Ive got on GFI.

I got into Shf a couple of years back @ R18 a share.
It is still trading at a PE of about 10.
And never really got above that.
Why has this share always been discounted?

According to my calls, if for every $10 drop in gold price, gold shares fall 5 percent, then by the time gold price reaches $1000 gold miners will be worth zero
Ah Ninja thow est a Gold fundie
Is this forcast of $1000 / ounce in the next 12-18mths a reality.
The only theory I have is these types of calls generally become self fulfilling most of the time.... 
Anyone need a heads up...!

SGL still has to play catch down with the others....HAR / GFI / ANG ....... me thinks !
Got my eye on DRD for the bottom drawer. Better long term play IMO
thx soutie..agree with you on SGL playing catch down to its peers. trying to time a bottom on gold miners with FED announcement coming up could spell disaster or great gains...will sit on the fence a little while longer mulling it over

I've been following this forum for a while now - good insights!
So yesterday tore me a new one - blasted down so fast my SL limits did not even trigger.
Anyway, my situation is dire 
hopefully some relief today...

market in a much needed sell off, nothing to panic over. more volatility to come until the xmas break
