My play is to increase very small shorts as we rise over a longer time frame, The last play delivered a collective net >+1000 points across all positions on the pull back, but got a bit sweaty from time to time.

GB there is not much to help us shoot up so high.Maybe grind a bit higher.Long with Ukraine atm is just to risky and seems it is getting worse.When easy money dries up our market is just to expensive.Naspers allso keeping us down and with ten cent really taking a lot of strain a big up move is goiing to be dificult.But then fundamentals and technicals still favour a up move,ALsi have not even dropped to 43500 so that just shows that it is still very strong.I think traders are just very careful with Ukraine atm.

Nice and it fits in with the current US Elliott wave pattern as well, calling for the primary wave 3 to end soon (ending diagonal) and the Kress/40 year cycles (made its low in 1934, in 1974, and now scheduled to do so again in 2014) to roll over and take the markets down (primary wave 4) into October!

 

Markets should then rise again for the final primary wave 5 up and new highs to conclude the bullmarket since 2009, thus making this a 8 year bullmarket and match the previous 2 exceptions in history other than your normal 5 year secular bullmarket!

 

I have a target of around 33 000ish on TOP40F, where do you see primary wave 4 going?

Twaddle aside and wearing most conservative (bowler) hat…  

If sub wave 3 (ii) tops out similar to sub wave 3 (i)

And if the recent all time high ended 3 (ii) [which I doubt]

Then the double bottom can point to commencement point of major 4 after pull back

(This being the current 45100 futures target)

This represents most bearish view for me.

The prospects for the daily wedge would need more extension work on the chart to negate the above, if caution grips.

Don’t see Major 4 to 33000 using Major 2 as a guide suggests more like 40000 and the weekly flag objective of 49190 would see the long term bear commencement with 33000 somewhere along there (hopefully ending it within 3 years?, but some say that the next big bear may even endanger the species)

Bullish sentiment persists - responding

Extension of major wave 3 commenced w/o 23^rd June 2013.

Within this extension sub wave 3 commenced w/o 8^th Dec 2013 from double bottom.

The target of the double bottom is some 700 pips up as I write. OK,OK, a typo. Make that 1700

The 3^rd sub-sub wave of sub wave 3 has broken and is approaching top out.

That leaves corrective sub sub wave 4 and final sub sub wave 5 (yet to commence) in order to complete sub wave 3 (of 5).

Yes, it may be sub sub wave 5 that is fragmenting, but not at 1st glance.

That still leaves sub waves 4 and 5 to complete Major 3.

Sure, Major wave 4 will then eventually arrive and seem quite big. Something like Major wave 2, I suppose.
