Same **** bad news is good, crash crash only talk but markets just climbing best bet to be long.

When we say crash, we don't mean it's going to crash now or today.
It's just a caution at current levels. If we knew which day it will crash, then we would be rich.

Those with good money management can short at current levels, even though it can continue to reach 44000.

Last December i said bitcoin will crash. It crashed today only. This shows crashes can take time to brew.
I said move your money into dollars, and the Rand crashed in January. It can even move to R14 medium term.
I said strikes will start in early in the year, they've started already.
Caution means something is likely to happen. Most of my cautions don't last more than 3 months without happening.
Right now i have a long gold trade, i'm expecting gold to hit 1450 soon.

Holding a leveraged product for 3 months can wile out your account.

S&P 500 1840 level is the one to watch... Maybe just a backtest?

S&P reversed the last minute to close below 1840.

Thank you AJS; sorry for the stupid question, but what is this supposed to tell us?

Just shows how many (%) of the S&P stocks trade above the 200 day moving average.  Look at the latter part of the chart. See how this % is decreasing although the S&P keeps shooting up.  When a stock trends above or below its 200 day moving average it is normally considered a good indication of the trend (up or down).  Then again, it is trending around the mean, so nothing too get worried about I suppose.  Was just interesting.

Looks like there are more puts than calls out there... DOW and CBOE Total Put/Call ratio.

VIX monthly chart. Has been range bound for quite some time now, no (too) serious volatility creeping in (yet).

I'm not entirely convinced of this bullish action in the last 30 minutes. Volume is low.

The market will turn when it wants to turn.  It will give the signal when it wants to turn and the key is to stay afloat to react on the signal! ;)
